I am new to lactnet. I am an RN and an IBCLC (recerting by exam this year!). I am newly employed as a hospital based LC at a high risk facility. We have a patient that went into PTL 3 days ago at 28 weeks gestation and is now very engorged. Have people seen this before? How where they managed and what was their pregnancy outcome? Thank you so much for your help.
