Dear friend ~

This Sunday, June 17, is Father's Day in the USA. Our (oldest) son Brandon
was excited to finally be "Dad" and was looking forward to celebrating his
first Father's Day. Sadly, he died of an aggressive form of a head and neck
cancer the day before his daughter was six months. I am asking you to wish
Brandon a Happy Father's Day wherever in the world you are this Sunday at
approximately 12:38 PM (your time), which was the time of day of his birth.

Not wanting to hurt the environment by releasing helium balloons, consider
blowing bubbles, releasing a butterfly or ladybug, etc, or writing a
Father's Day greeting to him and then burning it so the smoke goes
"heavenward." (For other ideas, see
http://BalloonsBlow.org/environmentally-friendly-alternatives.)

If possible, take a photo and send a jpg of it to me via
[log in to unmask] via my Facebook page -- I'd like to compile an
album for Brandon's
daughter Morgan.

Thank you for your consideration - and please feel free to share with
others who may want to honor him this Sunday. If you weren't lucky enough
to know Brandon -, you can get a good sense of him in a tribute one of my
brothers created at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0xnkWchu5Y&feature=share.
I apologize for the "mass" mailing and any repeats of this message.

Most sincerely,

Karen Gromada
