Denise asked:

We've had several patients who have really had difficulty pumping their milk with this pump.  They've been able to pump more milk with a regular pump in style (and of course even more with a hospital grade pump)  I wondered if anyone else has seen this?

Yes, Denise, it has been a common complaint that I have heard. I first got feedback from my daughter-in-law who was concerned that she had a slow let-down because it took 45 minutes each pumping session to get enough for the feedings she missed when at work. Fortunately for her, she could multi-task and pump while she did computer work or read papers (she's microbiologist.) For women with less flexible workplaces, this would be a nightmare. And the common thread in the complaints I received were that the mothers never thought the pump was at fault and tended to blame their bodies, sadly.
