Oh, I wish, I wish.  I should have put 'myself first', I could be with you but
felt that it was just too much of a luxury because we had decided not to have
a family holiday away this year, even though my husband said "Go on, do it".
There is also that coward in me that worried about getting myself from the
airport to the venue - and checking-in to a hotel on my own, pathetic, isn't
it?  This was also an ideal opportunity almost handed to me on a plate because
I can get cheap(ish) flights on Virgin A, so, if the conference can be
arranged in future years near one of their destinations I will give myself a
good talking to and be a grown-up!
