Have headed into uncharted territory for me and would like to get info from
those with more experience. A while back I posted about a client who decided
to try domperidone in lieu of reglan and how to wean off the first med. She
reports that her milk supply has dropped substancially. She had been
supplementing about 2 oz per day while on metoclopramide and is now
supplementing 8 - 9 ounces per day.
Another factor is that her insurance covers the metaclopramide but does not
cover the rather pricey domperidone.
She gave permission to post the following:

I am anxious to start back on the reglan since my supply seems to be worse
than ever. I have been taking the dom. for one full month, so I think I have
given the time it should take to become effective. I just want to know how
to take both or wean off the dom. and back to the reglan in the best way.

Thank you in advance for any illuminating information you can shed on this
one.
