Antihistamines and decongestants, conditions such as diarrhea, nausea, Sjögren's syndrome, diabetes, anemia, cystic fibrosis, mumps.
Dehydration, fever, excessive sweating, vomiting, diarrhea, radiation for cancer treatment

These are just a few medications and diseases that may lead to less saliva production, hence increase risk for caries.
Smoking is another one (albeit in adults).
