I would like to ask any of you lactnetter who is familiar with H.E.L.P.
My colleague has a client who is diagnosed of H.E.L.P.( hemolysis,
elevated liver enzymes and low platete) after she has her twins. Twins
now about six weeks old but mother's condition hasn't been recovered. She
has problem with her milk supply but she's very keen on continuing
nursing. She was prescribed with Domperidone(motilium) to boost up her
milk supply. Her pharmacist told her that domperidone would affect her liver enzymes. She's now not
taking the medication. I am interested to find out more from whom has the
experience with this specific situation.
I appreciate with all your help.
