Well, Cathy, I'm glad that you sent this post to the list. I really enjoyed
reading it and have often pondered the same thoughts. When working with
babies and moms it's important to keep these things in mind & realize that
they can be so different. What works well for one, may not work well for
another. We need to work with each mother-baby couple as a unique individual.

This may be one of my biggest frustrations working within the hospital
system. It does take a little time to get to know each couple. With shorter
hospital stays, it seems we have TOO LITTLE time.
