Thanks Lisa, I was aware if the nerve but thought that since it was a mid-line incision it shouldn't be affected.   However one of our bright young residents just informed me that it could be damaged by placement of drains etc.    She is already doing everything possible to increase her supply and is happy that she has something and that the baby enjoys being at the breast.
