...and I have another one!

For the last 3 years, I've been asked by a Spanish radio station in San Francisco to participate in a discussion about breastfeeding during World Breastfeeding Week. They are not connected with any formula company or any manufacturer or products that would cause me to be concerned - it's grant-funded.

HOWEVER, each time I've spoken (by telephone, as part of a group of various speakers including some moms and WIC staff, and others who have been approached by the Producer), one of the other speakers has stated something totally WRONG - timing of feeds, need to eat particular foods, recommendations of medications that "increase milk supply", etc.

As I'm on the phone, I can't give a non-verbal cue to the producer or the interviewer, nor can I interrupt easily. I have written to the producer each time AFTER the call to express my concerns One time I was able to communicate with a mom who had called in to the show and correct the misinformation. BUT I told them I could not participate again without having more control about what was being said, as the radio-listener has no way to know who is speaking and who is the "expert" vs. who is giving opinions.

Well, a year has gone by, the producers have changed - and I recieved a request to participate again. What would you do? Refuse? Require approval of other speakers? Require that I be able to have the last word to correct misinformation?
