This is a statement that's been reiterated by many people- I made no attempt
to search out who originally said it.  Arly Helm is on lactavist and has
been on Lactnet too, so she's just one of us.  (You won't believe how many
people ask me about that.)  I like to have a sig line that expresses what
I'm thinking about and she said it very succinctly.  I know some of you hate
all sig lines, but I use one all the time, and it's generally concerned with
lactation or unethical formula marketing, or health risks of not
breastfeeding.  (although sometimes it's about homebrewing too.  :-)  )
This practice has generated some good discussion with friends, people I
'meet' on usenet groups, as well as some people who take offense and tell me
that 'my discussion on breastfeeding is highly inappropriate'.  That
provides a wonderful opportunity for education, and if they're really using
their brain they can go to my web site and learn even more.
