In a recent skills lab I took, I asked this question about cow's milk
consumed by the mother and how much went thru the milk to the baby. I was
told that the protein and fat transferred 100% thru the milk to the baby. I
asked this because I see such a great response with these so called "colicky"
babies and the removal of cow milk products from a mothers diet. After about
10 days you have practically a whole new baby. I had this experience with all
three of my children. Cow's milk products are not a menu item at our house,
as we all have no tolerance for them.

Food for thought :) (or maybe not!)
