This is from personal experience.  My right side is the  one that produces 
99% of my milk.  My left side has never been a big  producer.  When I pump, I 
get (at best) 1/2 oz from the left....The right  is much more efficient.  My 
baby prefers the right and (since we took care  of all the gastric bypass 
problems) has gained sufficiently from the right  side.  I still nurse her on the 
left here and there, but I have pretty much  given up on it too.  No other p
roblems that I can figure...I never thought  it was a problem...If anyone knows why 
I should be concerned please let me know.
