I have to comment on this thread.
The worse a medication for children tastes the better in my book. I spent
several scary hours in the Emergency Room waiting to see if my 2 y/o son had
done any permanent liver damage when he decided to drink all of the YUMMY
grape medicine containing acetaminophen and dextromethorphan. I have no idea
how he got the childproof lid open - I guess its that Breastfed Child IQ :) .
I have locks on my medicine cabinets now, but he has managed to show us that
he can still open them up.
 If a medicine doesn' t taste good he'll fight me about taking it .  I really
think its too bad of the pharmeceutical companies to make childrens medicines
taste like candy. Luckily we havent had any more medicine eating or drinking
episodes.
