A week or so ago I posted what I remembered of a case where a mother obtained donor milk from her sister for her premature babies resulting in one infant dying from CMV and the other infant developing NEC because she was no longer trusted to be supplying her own milk by the NICU. I was alerted yesterday that this was not a real case study by a hypothetical one.
