I have a mom that is pumping and breast feeding part time. She has asked
me how to tell if she needs the horn inserts for the pump that she is
using....I realized that I dont really know the answer. Is there a rule
of thumb for whether you use the inserts or not. I realize they probably
go by size but I thought that it probably depends on where your areola
fits in the pump. Any advise would be appreciated. Also we were
wondering if there is any real difference between the pumps that have
soft "petal like" flanges, like the Avent and the White river and the
ones that have the hard plastic horns?
Thanks for your help,
JP
