The need for vitamin D has more to do with this vitamin being genetically
engineered than an "epidemic" of vitamin D deficiency.  They have a product they
need to market.  This is done through buying the research and then getting
good press coverage.  Gene technology will have us believing that we cannot walk,
talk, and think without ingesting some gene-spliced food, or food supplement.
