The anti-cross cradle movement (with it's dire warnings that a feeding
position can ruin breastfeeding irredeemably) must have time on its hands.
If one position doesn't work or isn't comfortable, for goodness sake, try
another one.  And if you have an LC who tells you that you must "always" or
"never" use one position or another, find a new LC because they aren't smart
enough to be individuating your care.  This kind of dogmatism smacks of such
a rule driven, control oriented type of breastfeeding management that it can
only plant suggestions of failure and blame.

Cross cradle can be very useful in some situations.  It's just one tool in
the tool box.
