We, too, had some difficulty getting sleepy heads to wake up in the morning.
We recently got a new dog- We call him into the kids rooms, he jumps up and
licks them on the face until they wake up giggling and petting him. No
trouble now.
Sorry if this is off topic, but this is much kinder and easier than yelling
and screaming -'"you're going to be late for school if you don't wake up",
especially since we don't mind a little dog hair on the bed.
