If this is the body which bestows the highest form of accreditation on
hospitals, who is it that determines THEIR standards for evaluation?

Which leads me to my next question, namely, why are their standards not
related to evidence based practice?

Is there an advisory board for JCAHO that sets their standards, reviewing
them on the basis of such criteria? Hospitals go through all kinds of
gyrations, and are forced to pretend their care is of a LOWER quality in
order to get the carrot dangling from this stick?

Who sets the breastfeeding-related standards for this body, and what earthly
reason could they have for not using WHO/Unicef's Baby-Friendly criteria as
a standard?

Hellooo?
