Hello,
I find the most frustrating thing about epidurals & anesthesiologists is
their completely in lala land when it comes to the side effects of epidurals.
I visited a mom recently, who had an epidural and next day had a headache.
The doctors said it had nothing to do with the epidural. I saw her about one
week after birth, she still had a terrible headache and pain in her back. I
sent her to the emergency room. I have had this happen several times. I don't
think the anesthesia dept sees the patients after they deliver, so how would
they even know about the side effects. They don't see the side effects, so
they don't occur, right!! Wrong!!!!
Just venting my frustration with the overuse and abuse of epidurals in this
country.
