I wanted to share a funny with all of you.  Soon after I was certified IBCLC,
I received  a phone call from a client complaining of sore nipples.  I told
her that I needed to "see what the baby was doing to her nipples".  (I had
been listening to Coach Smith's conference tapes and knew I had to observe
the nursing couplet). I rearranged my day and scheduled her to come see me.
 She came through the door, followed by her sister WITHOUT (yes I'm yelling)
the baby!  She thought I just wanted to see her nipples!  Now I'm *always*
careful to tell moms to bring the babes with them.
