I called a woman who came on my bf meetings and she told me her son (born
by c-section) didn't latch on. Actually he does latch on, but then doesn't
started to suck. They tried fingerfeeding, but he swallowed lots of air,
causing lots of vomitting, so they switched to bottles. The mother told me
her son has problems with sucking at the bottle too. I suggested to use the
bottle to 'train' his tongue, and to put the bottle deep in the mouth (so
that he learns to put his tongue under it and open his mouth wider). I also
suggested remedial co-bathing. She is pumping and her supply is very good.

Don't know the outcome yet.
