Dear Faithful and Forgiving LNers who participated in the Fee Study:  For
those of you who have not yet received your results, I apologize and ask you
to email me privately.  I promise to immediately send out the results.  What
happened was that my hard drive  with the data was infected by a virus.  I,
of course kept a backup on diskette, but it was the subsetted data without
the email addresses and names in order to protect confidentiality.  Well,
now I have all the data and results, but the email addresses are a scrambled
mess.  My research policy is always to separate the unique identifiers and
assign numbers to participants or "observations"; however, this time I'm
paying for it.

So, please forgive me.  I would just post it, but back when the study got
started a year ago, someone objected to this as being damaging to our
profession.  While I disagree based upon  thorough analysis of other health
professions including MDs salary/fee studies, I agreed to abide by this.
