happy chanukah to all out there, may your holidays be filled with an
enduring light of love, peace and fellowship!

i am temporarily on no-mail due to extreme committments but i have two
questions. Please e-mail me privately.

One how can i call or e-mail Dr Marianne Neifert? I need her for a
conference ASAP. Does anyone on line work with her?

Now that JHL has had the issue out FOR nipple shield use, are we now
swinging back full force to the use of shields? are we to expect now to
see them in every postpartum discharge kit on every nursery exchange cart?

I fear that all those professionals who were aghast when i got them off the
carts they will now be screaming i told you so! let's get them back....and
again we will see them used by the unititiated, on the un-followed clients.

I use them in select cases when nothing else will work and with much
patience on at least 2 recent cases where the infants refused to latch on
to them. one mom lost her milk using it exclusively for 10 days and flew
out o Arizona to get great help from Dr Randall Craig (because her local
ob/gyn wouldn't help her) Reglan worked for her (when pumping and fenugreek
and mothers milk tea and etc would not)!

another mom could NOT get shield to lay against her areola/nipple, no
matter what, it curled and slipped and NO TAPE would hold it in place
except adhesive and that was very irritating, no go. now on bottles with a
loss of milk supply after using a new design kit on a hospital pump.

I am not sure the shield was unbiasedly ?word? represented, where are those
situations that were disasters and they are out there! i've picked up a few
of the pieces.
thanks for any replies, ruthy wilson.
