I just wrote to Amelia Psymythe, the CDP for Oregon for the Nat'l Bfdg Awareness Campaign, and she says the ads will be launched May or June of 2004. Now you know as much as I do.

I am becoming increasingly concerned that the National Breastfeeding
Awareness Campaign is being delayed indefinitely, and may never
appear at all now. Can someone "in the know" update us here on
Lactnet? The silence around this issue seems deathly lately, yet I
cannot help but believe that the formula makers are at work behind
the scenes.
Would it help if we mounted a letter/email/phone campaign of our own,
to include Secretary Thompson, DHHS, and/or the Ad Council?
