Thanks for your reply, Cee.  I did seriously consider suggesting an SNS for
the mom, especially since the baby was a champion feeder.  However even
before I revealed that the baby was taking in so little, the mom was already
overwhelmed just by the position change I suggested (from cradle to
cross-cradle -- essential because her copious breasts didn't allow cradle
hold).  She's holding out hope that a corrected latch, increased stimulation
and galactogogues are all she needs; I hope she's right.
