Hi All,
Back after a week of nomail. Missed you guys, but really needed a break.
Stress will get you in the most irritating of ways. But anyways....

About this sour milk issue; I always tell my moms to taste and smell the
milk. If it tastes nasty, toss it. If it tastes fine then use it. Also, if
the baby won't take it, then toss it, if the baby will take it then use it.
I don't remember who it was who just mentioned about the cream rising to the
top and moms thinking something was wrong with the milk, but I have had to
reassure moms about the same thing. Also, when the milk is warmed and in a
bottle, little bits of "stuff" hang onto the inside of the bottle making the
moms think it must be bad. I tell them that it is just fine, and that my
milk did the same thing.
It is amazing how little we know about our own bodies and what our bodies
produce. How many moms have never tasted their own milk? I ask all my moms
to at least taste it so that they will know if it is ok in the future (my
moms who have to pump and bottle cause they are at work). Also gives them a
sense of strength that they know about themselves and their bodies and what a
wonderful system our body is.
Take care all!
Jay
(whose family is recovering from a hit and run last night. Can you believe
it? They knew we had kids in the car and they left! What a bunch of
cowards. Thanks godness we weren't seriously injured. I love my OLD steel
bodied gas guzzling car! Safest thing on the road!)
