Hi Heidi, I do not think this supplement would be a problem. It seems this
is made up of ingredients purported to help bones and joints, chondroitin
and glucosamine and sulphur compounds. There are no recommended daily
requirements that I could find on the 'net for these ingredients, and it is
not known what levels might be toxic (couldn't find that), but if she takes
as directed with a 16 mo old nursing 2x per day, I don't think it would be
absolutely contraindicated. **HOWEVER** as there could potentially be a
problem with these products, as far as quality control, and long term
effects on mother or nursling, I personally, I would try to steer her to the
basics of good nutrition to get her minerals. Here is a good website and she
can look at sulphur as to where she can get it from whole foods.
