We are expecting our second child in April and my mother recently sent me a
book for my son (19 months) to 'read' about the new baby coming. The book
is just illustrations and geared towards toddlers. On the very first page
is a picture of the mother sitting in a big chair nursing the baby with the
big brother sitting with her patting the baby's head - I was so pleased!
The book continues to have a positive theme (no bottles at all in this book
or paci's). On another page is a picture of the daddy preparing dinner with
big brother while mom sits in the backgroud in a rocking chair nursing her
baby (with her water glass handy!). I really like this book, espically for
young children like my son. It is called "My New Baby" Illustrated by Annie
Kubler. The company name on the book is Child's Play (International) Ltd. I
have no idea where my mom bought the book, sorry.
