A mom I am helping will be leaving tomorrow AM at 9 for Bridgewater, VA. Near
Harrisonburg(sp) She has a 3 wk old daughter and has had sore nipple pain for
the 3 wks. Saw an LC yesterday who said the babe is sucking in her bottom lip
and could be the cause of the pain! Finding her someone so I can call her
with the phone # before 9AM is my first priority...Email VA info to

If any suggestions on resolving the prob, they are much appreciated, too. The
LC told her to latch baby on then pull out the lower lip-she's got a tiny
mouth and not a big, puffy lower lip; mom is concerned because trying to pull
out lip is next to impossible with the baby on the breast. I do see some rim
of a lip, but can also see what the LC means--plus the pain factor...
