Dear all:

I do not think it was anyone on Lactnet that contacted the AAP.  I received the same press 
release from a colleague from my prior career who thought it was genuine and was really 
happy about the press release.  I had to inform this colleague that it was an April Fool's 
joke.  So, I think the letter may have spread to others who contacted the AAP.

To me, it seems like it is the lawyer and the head of the AAP that lack a sense of humor. I 
never thought of contacting them before, but I did after this step at censoring satire.
