Dear Holly, I try to bring it up whenever I can, especially if a mom asks
about pumping to have a bottle to take along if they go out with baby.

NJ law is that mom can breastfeed her baby where ever she and the baby have
a right to  be.  We have a cute little business card (from WIC, I think)
that has the law in English on one side and Spanish  on the other.

I was  showing a Pakistani mom how to BF modestly the other day using her
scarf for covering.  I always explain to moms that when they get more
experienced and the baby gets more experienced it gets easier.  The dad was
agreeing with me.  I emphasize that BF is important and other cultures know
this, it's just the dumb Americans who don't know.  This always gets a
