Hi Diane,

I'll be 46 end of the month and weaned my last baby 9 years ago, but I do
notice a change in menstruation in the last 2-3 years. More irrational, less
predictable for the people surrounding me, sometimes more pain (between the
last two periods backaches did not go away!) I call it ''starting of
menopause'' and don't blame it on breastfeeding. It might indeed very well
be that in the case you describe that it is the decrease in breastfeeding
that makes the change more clear or perhaps heavier.

Warmly greeting,

Gonneke
