Hi, Dee!

It is indeed spelled Mochi, and I have two cases of the stuff in my 
fridge.  It is mostly pounded brown short grain glutinous rice.  It 
comes in a flat brick, and you break it into 2" pieces and bake in a 
450F oven until it puffs up.  It is very chewy, and comes in all sorts 
of flavors, from raisin-nut to garlic to chocolate.
