Don't forget the option to donate milk.  It's not for every mom in this
situation, but some find it healing to know that another baby can benefit from
her loss.  My "script" would go something like this:

"Your body doesn't know the baby died, so you will begin to produce milk.  In
the past, meds would be given to help "dry up", but there are some potential
dangerous side effects, so that is rarely done today.  You have several
options.  Some suggest taking "anti-galactogogues" such as sage or peppermint
(Altoids is a common suggestion).  Others suggest sudaphed.  Another option that
some mothers have found helped them heal emotionally is to donate milk for a
while to a milk bank and later "dry up" gradually.  I can give you more
information on the option(s) you would like to explore further."
I have found that some moms who learn later that this was an option have said
they wish they would have known about it when they lost their baby as they might
have considered it.
