Hi All,

I was talking with a friend of mine today (37, single, no kids) and asked
her what she thought about this poster (I described it to her). She thought
about it and said she thought it was an odd thing to take a picture of and
she could see how some people could take it as child porn. For her, since
she has never had children, never been around BF babies or toddlers it was
an odd thing to think about. She felt that a child bottle-feeding was more
'normal'. We talked about how bottle feeding is NOT the natural way and
that BF is. She understood and said if she had grown up around BF, then she
could see herself being very comfortable with the idea behind poster.

As we were talking (on the phone as she was at a store) a young mom walked
by nursing a baby, the baby's feet hanging out (bumped my friend in fact!)
and breast obviously visible but mom didn't care. My friend was surprised
but told me how cute the baby was hanging out like that, nursing away
without a care in the world - I didn't know I was on her loudspeaker and
asked her how she felt about the obvious public BF. Apparently the mom
looked at her and grinned (she heard me!)! Here I am telling my friend how
cool it is that this young gal is out there doing her thing, nursing the
baby like it was something we should all be OK with all the time.my friend
was embarrassed but laughed about it all. She is getting a real BF
education by knowing me! :-) By the time I am done with her she'll be a BF
advocate too! :-)

Just thought I'd share.

Warmly,

Jaye
