Hi all, and Lisa, thank you for explaining suck training to me at least
in a succinct way. I know there is more to it.... I have not had a lot
of interaction with this type of work over the years,not since my baby
(now almost 13) was a baby and I was at a workshop with Chele Marmet.

I think that the basic thing here is that different tools work in
different situations, and that we all have favorite tools that we use
more often than others.  I am not an occupational therapist, but I enjoy
knowing more about advanced techniques that are being used in some
cases.

And there may be more than one way to accomplish the same goal, or task.
That is why we need more breastfeeding/lactation science to back up our
professional techniques and protocols, and to help us understand what we
really are doing when we perform certain interventions.
