Hi Rachel,

We had a case like this about 6 yrs ago, and fortunately it was the Ped
Gastro's nurse.

He took the baby off milk for longer than yours did, and he had the mom
take Culturelle which contains Lactobacillus GG.

This worked well and she bf for at least one year.

I believe he had the baby take Culturelle too.

More recently I have heard that there is now a pediatric formulation of
Culturelle.

We have shared this story many times and allows us to give her number

Just last month, the story was featured in the health section of the
Peoria (IL) Journal Star newspaper-don't know if you can find it on the
web or not.
