The doctors at our hospital are concerned about the viral shedding and
have stopped the administration of breast milk to an infant who's mother
has an active case of chicken pox. What is the current thinking on this
matter? Are there references you can share. This is a now 38 week
infant in intensive care. I have also searched the archives on this
subject. Thank you.
