I love conspiracy theories as much as anyone, but World Breastfeeding Week
is so low profile in the UK to be invisible...the only time I have ever
seen it mentioned is on Lactnet and other plces on the Internet.

We never do anything about it in NCT as there is a national Breastfeeding
Week in May. The press take no notice of WBW because they feel they've
'done' bf in May.


Also, volunteer activity tends to cease in August when most people take
their family holiday.

So, while the dissemination of the info worldwide may well be a bit
sinister, the original report's timing is co-incidental.

I think.....
