also at this conference i saw a video made to show to parents of preemies by
NIDCAP and it was another prime example of the bottlefeeding norm. no
breastfeeding mentioned, but a baby shown being bottled. also, methods to
calm a baby included "pacifier, finger sucking, swaddling, or put baby down
in a quiet place." to cry it out? how many hospitals are showing this tape to
parents? no wonder they don't insist on breastfeeding.
