Cross contamination can also occur when bottle feeding and using nipples.
Yeast will live on those surfaces as well. Suggest looking at any of the good
materials from La Leche League or the many lactation reference books
regarding an appropriate course of action for yeast, suspected or proven. I
am curious as to how bottle feeding can decrease gassiness? Thrush in a
baby's mouth makes sucking or drinking anything painful, that's why they pull
off and on the breast. I know, I have had oral thrush and it is not fun. As I
have said on this venue many times, it hurts to drink water. How about
checking the archives for the voluminous number of posts on thrush?
