Actually, the article as quoted merely pointed out, once again, that smoking
is BAD for everyone, mom, fetus, and baby.  It also pointed out the
correlation, noted by many other researchers, between health-risky behaviors:
the smoking mothers had a poorer diet than non-smokers.

It is better (by far) for a pregnant or lactating woman not to smoke.  It is
better for the baby if the mother doesn't smoke, but breastfeeding is still
better than the alternative if the mother does smoke.  At least we can
encourage smoking moms to try to eat better, take vitamins, and smoke as
little as possible (or quit smoking).
