Have not been reading all my lacnet messages but wanted to put my 2 cents in.
 The baby who has a poor suck and subtle neurologic problems could present
transverse in labor because of subtle tone abnormalities.  The way a fetus
gets in the proper position for birth is by all the kicking and moving that
they do.  Of course most of the subtle tone abnormalities we see in the
newborn period be they large muscle movement or small muscle movement ( which
would cause problems with nursing) usually resolve over time.)
