Hi Kathy,
That's the point. Research in the area of relactation has not used test
weighs but just encouraged frequent feeding and encouraged the mother.
Success rates are very high. It seems that one does not need to know how
much milk the baby is getting at any particular feed and that monitoring
output and long term weight gain is appropriate.
