Hello all,

Just for the record, I have read these articles several times and cannont
find any reference to diflucan causing vasospasm. In fact, Diflucan is not even
mentioned once in either article.

Does any one have any other source for the assertion that diflucan can cause
nipple vasospasm??? Thanks, Chris

2nd ed dated 2002, will ask if there has been another.
On page 47 fluconazole is mentioned 7th in a non alphabetical list of drugs
that can cause vasospasm. The two ref for that paragraph are:
LA Lawlor-Smith, CL Lawlor-Smith. Raynaud's phenomenon of the nipple: a
preventable cause of bf failure? Med J of Aust, April 1996; 166:448.

LS Lawlor-Smith, CL Lawlor-Smith. Vasospasm of the nipple-a manifestation
of Raynaud's phenomenon: case reports. BMJ 1997; 314: 644-645.

I'm not sure how you decide if vasospasm of nipple is caused by the med or
by the fungus. Possibly timing, no vasospasm until med started???
