My dh is currently a post-doctoral fellow in the biology dept. of the Univ.
of Kentucky. We are currently looking for a job with hard money, either
academic or in industry (we're open to any suggestions!). He states that
he is a behavioral neurobiologist. What he does is try to figure out what
colors males tropical fish need to be for the females to choose to mate
with them.

When he has gotten to teach courses in the biology dept. he always tries to
bring some aspect of breastfeeding into the course. As a side note I've
helped lots of friends and colleagues work through breastfeeding and
working in academics. Seems like most biologists (organismal types) we
know breastfeed their babies - it would be pretty ironic if they didn't.

My ds is just 8 yo and wants to be a entomologist, herpetologist or
paleontologist (depending on the day). My dd is 4yo and at this time has
stated she wants to be Princess Barbie who studies insects.

I'm looking forward to finding out what my children end up doing.
