Hi all!  I have been No Mail for ages and lurking for 2 weeks. I  am an
LC in private practice in Riverdale, NY. I have  3 breastfed "kids" 23.
21 & 17... all weaned, in case that wasn't clear.
 Wish I could keep up with Lacnet but probably won't so I'll come & go.
I do enjoy the clinical discussions most of all.
To put in my 2 cents on  mastitis before pregnancy. I saw a case in
Pitssburgh a few years ago. She had been hospitalised for premature
labor, I think. When she delivered she did not produce a drop of milk.
It was as if it was all blocked! Pumping, & hand expression did not
help.
