Regarding delaying solids: I remember learning that there was a "window of opportunity" for introducing solids. There was some concern about babies being reluctant to try new foods after a certain age. I wonder about this, maybe it was more of a resistance to textures? I think that the iron level will probably be ok, but the mom could have the doctor check, if she was worried. RTucker IBCLC, Texas
